An armed student is in custody after a standoff with police inside an Ohio high school, police say.
A Toledo Public Schools spokesman told the Toledo Blade that the student had isolated himself Monday morning inside a classroom at Scott High School.
Toledo Police spokesperson Lt. Mark King told Toledo News Now that police negotiators spoke with the student, who is 14 years old.
There were no reports of injuries, and the suspect has been taken into custody, Toledo Police announced on their Twitter account.
The district said students inside the building are safe, but they would not be released until the situation is over.
Toledo police are expected to hold a press conference soon to provide more details.
