Police are investigating reports of a shooting at the University of Oklahoma, but the school says no evidence has been found yet of shots being fired.
Norman Police said at around 11:15 a.m. local time they received a call from University of Oklahoma police asking them for their assistance in investigating reports of a possible shooting, KOKH reports.
“Shooting on campus. Avoid Gould Hall. Seek immediate shelter in place,” read a tweet posted on the school’s official account.
But University of Oklahoma’s public information officer later said "as of this time, no evidence has been found of any shots being fired." Normal campus operations have resumed except for Gould Hall.
There are no immediate reports of injuries.
The reports come a day after a deadly shooting at Purdue University.
