Former President George W. Bush formally kicks off the release of his personal biography of his father with an event at his dad's presidential library center at Texas A&M University.

The younger Bush takes the stage Tuesday to tell several hundred invited guests at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Center about his book "41: A Portrait of My Father."

The elder Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush are planning to attend the infrequent joint appearance by the two former presidents.

The book offers a glimpse of the 90-year-old Bush's life through the eyes of his oldest son.

Bush 43 says up front his account is not objective, describing it in the author's note as a "love story" about an extraordinary man he's "blessed to call my dad."
